SRM University Chennai Latest Updates
IIT Roorkee has released the GATE 2025 timetable on their official website (gate2025.iitr.ac.in). The exam will be held in two sessions over the weekends from February 1 to 16, 2025. The morning session will take place from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while the afternoon session will be scheduled from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM
IIT Roorkee has opened the facility to add a secondary GATE 2025 test paper. Registration for GATE 2025 is closed, but candidates can still add a paper.
SRMIST will soon release the SRMJEEE 2025 application form. Various phases with different deadlines for registration and form submission.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology, formerly known as the SRM University was established in 1985. It has a total of 8 campuses, and one such campus is located in Kattankulathur, Chennai. SRM Chennai courses are offered both in full-time and part-time mode at various levels namely undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, PG diploma, and doctoral levels. SRM Chennai Admission Process 2024
- Candidates must first meet the eligibility criteria set for the course, and apply, appear and qualify for the entrance exam, if any.
- Next, candidates have to register themselves with their email ID and mobile number on the university’s official portal.
- After the registration, candidates need to fill up the SRMIST application form, upload the necessary documents, and pay the SRM University application fees.
- All the necessary details regarding the admission will be communicated to the candidates through their registered email ID and contact details.
- A preliminary screening will be done based on the candidate's application and documents submitted for shortlisting.
- Shortlisted candidates will then attend the e-counselling process, wherein they have to choose their desired programme, get their documents verified and submit the tuition and other requisite fees.
- Lastly, candidates will receive a Provisional Allotment Letter (PAL), which will mark the end of the SRMIST admission process.

Following is the list of CET scholarships offered by SRM Chennai to engineering students. The SRM University scholarships provided vary based on the number of test takers in each phase and there are limited seats. Thus, they are awarded on a first-option basis. All the rank-based SRM University scholarships are valid only on academic tuition fees and are not applicable for industry-partnered programmes, namely:
